It is a pleasure to inform you that AGRICOMSEEDS work based on three strategies:
| Step 1 | You must live in a region within the tropical belt with a minimum area of influence of no less than 100.000 hectares of corn cultivation.
You must have strong relationships with regional farmers and agree with Agricomseeds' Principles and Values .
You must share our Vision, based on a serious, long-term relationship of mutual trust.
| | Step 2 | You must be able to conduct trials of 50 corn hybrids whichAgricomseeds will send to you (see package), to be planted and compared with the two best hybrids or varieties used in your region, (you must first request fithosanitary authorization in your country, a normal requisite for any seed import).
Additionally, we will send you a planting design (see design) with instructions and proper distribution for the 10 hybrids plus the 2 local hybrids and these must be planted in the farmer’s field during the same season and using the same planting techniques that are used in the region.
In order to develop a long term relationship built on trust and mutual respect of each other's intellectual and tangible property, we request that recipients of our genetic materials sign a material transfer agreement (Version 2). Under certain circumstances, we use a somewhat different material transfer agreement, as appropriate | | Step 3 | During the trial harvest, Agricomseeds will re-send you seed for the best three hybrids, to be planted in a surface area of 1000 square meters each, in 5 different fields, next to the corn that the farmer is planting that same day, with the same planter and under the same handling conditions. A technician from Agricomseeds must be with you at the time of harvest, so that you can evaluate the hybrid’s performance in your region together with Agricomseeds, and then share the global performance information for these hybrids in other comparable latitude and sea-level altitude regions. | | Step 4 | In the event that you, the 5 farmers, and Agricomseeds believe that one or moreAgricomseed hybrids have significantly OUTPERFORMED the best local hybrids, we will first congratulate you for your achievement, and then send you greater quantities for the introduction of the hybrid(s) in the specific agro-climatic region of your country. | | Step 5 | We will provide you with information as needed for you to register the chosen hybrid(s) and to seek plant variety protection, if applicable. In the USA, we have also filed for patent protection and will grant you a license.You will become an EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTOR in your region of the hybrid that YOU HAVE CHOSEN. Agricomseeds retains the right to license the same hybrid(s) under the same or different trademark to other companies for other countries. |
